WARNING TO ALL CONSUMERS AND SENIORS:

Please be advised that many debt collectors violate the Fair Debt Collection Act based on state and federal law.  These practices include harassing phone calls, continuous threatening letters and threats of criminal prosecution.  An alarming amount of these debt collection companies pray on the elderly.

Additionally, increasingly insurance companies are also unfairly settling claims with their own insured.  The elderly are easy targets for insurance company’s “lowballing” their own customers.  All of us are effected by bad faith insurance actions by shady insurance companies.

Lastly, our law firm is investigating unfair billing practices or “upcoding” by unscrupulous health care providers including durable medical equipment companies, pharmaceutical companies. These practices constitute fraud.  The government is actively prosecuting these cases and there are rewards and protection for those who report these unfair billing practices that hurt the elderly.  Many of the schemes constitute elder abuse by billing for medical equipment never used and by unfairly overbilling procedures and medications and billing Medicare and Medicaid for these products.  Under the False Claims Act and Safe Harbor Act there are protections for the person who steps forward and exposes these schemes to the government.  You may be also eligible for an award from 10-30% of the total recovered fraudulent billing from the government.

If you or someone you know is a victim of these practices call me at or toll-free at .  Caring for seniors and protecting health care dollars is of foremost importance to our law firm.
